A fantastical journey into a world vivid of imagination. Bubblegum Wishes is not your average ordinary story. Far from it, in fact. When one sleeps, they enter a completely new dimension, appropriately named, A Different Dimension. Within this dimension, anything is possible - anyone is possible, including Toy Elves, Marshmallow Wizards, Sweet Toothed Tigers, Abominable Snow Crabs and even smelly Cheddar Cheese People.

J.S. Longstreet displays his phenomenal imagination as he takes the reader on a journey, unlike any they have ever been on. Who knew that food could be so much fun and so vicious? With hints of the Wizard of Oz, we take a trip with the Marshmallow Wizard himself, Malcolm Redfield, who has hopes of finding his Memory, Sandy Eclair of the Aviator Delta Squad, who is trying to get back home after an unexpected landing, Cran, the Sweet Toothed Tiger in search of his Wit, and Theo, a giant of sorts, in search of Feelings. They must make it through such treacherous terrain as the Marmalade Marsh to make is to Gourd Valley and the Queen that resides there, Candycorn.

It is not an easy task, as the group encounters many difficulties and distractions along the way. Readers will be delighted with this wild tale and will not be disappointed if they are looking for a story to take all cares of the real world away. I found Bubblegum Wishes to be a fun read and absolutely love the title - very catchy and memorable. I feel that this story is extremely clever and I look forward to reading additional works by Mr. Longstreet.

Product Description:

The universe is full of pretty different things, when you really look at it. Why, you can even find these different things in your dreams! Did you know that dreams are really a subconscious ability to gaze into another dimension? The Different Dimension, to be exact! In this strange and magical universe, you can find Toy Elves, Legged Piranhas, the infamous U.F.O., Sweet Toothed Tigers, and even Marshmallow Wizards! It so happens that Malcolm Redfield is a Marshmallow Wizard, and he's about to embark on an adventure into the great forgotten world of Pinfoot, the world of cuisine, where all walks of food groups... well, walk. It is shaping up to be a dangerous journey when he meets the sticky Marmalade Marsh, emotionally deprived Abominable Snow Crabs, and the terribly smelly Cheddar Cheese people. It's going to take a lot of Wit to make it to Gourd Valley. Hopefully he can find some along the way...

About the Author:

Born January 29, 1983, J.S. Longstreet never knew he'd one day be writing stories of silliness and fantastical adventures. Some have always warned young Longstreet that he ought to get his head out of the clouds; however, always dreaming about flying, J.S. Longstreet never did. While not drawing a comic entitled, "RESET!", or a series of super hero parodies, he's writing stories about Dreams. One might ask: "What colour is the sky in the world you live in?", and to that he would answer, "Often orange and sometimes envious."

Hello,
As with the others, I wanted to say my thanks in person (aka via blog comments) for taking the time to read and review my book! It means ever so much to hear these inspiring words. With things like say... 'life' in the way, writing anything, let alone a sequel, has been a trying subject. However, this is the pointed stick that nudges me over the cliff of 'writer's block'. Thanks again!

Keep Dreaming,
-J.S. Longstreet
